The Chess Day Camp was a blast! It was a house filled with kindergarteners to high schoolers, players with no rating to those rated 2000+, committed parents hanging out to curious ones checking it out. Many participants were in it for the whole day, while others made time to utilize one-half. There were fast games - lightning to rapid ones, bughouse fun, and of course serious ones and coaching. There was plenty of food to keep the kids going, and they got to stretch out in the play area during lunch.
